Educational Objectives of the Department
The aim of our Accounting and Taxation Applications programme is to train qualified intermediate personnel for accounting and tax services, accounting or consulting firms, and accounting and finance departments of public or private sector organisations. By providing students with basic knowledge in the field of accounting and an understanding of the functions and importance of accounting, the ability to follow the legislation related to their profession, perform preliminary accounting transactions and accounting records of a business in both paper and electronic environments, prepare financial statements and analyse the financial structure, perform transactions related to the taxation process of a business, participate in the decision-making process within an organisation, and use financial values.
Department Objective
To educate students who can keep pace with today's changing conditions, adapt to them, and establish an accounting system in a business from start to finish, equipped with the necessary knowledge, skills, and experience.
